It was refreshing witnessing Apple revamp its gadget range thoroughly instead of introducing minor tweaks on familiar-looking devices. Certainly, the Apple Watch Series 10 mirrors the design of the Series 9 and even stretches back to Series 7. Nevertheless, that’s the quintessential style Apple is renowned for, tailored for those who thrive within its ecosystem. Enhancements are best achieved with subtle adjustments now and then, which underscores the emphasis on a more slender frame and a more vivid screen.

The measurements are no longer 41mm and 45mm. The Apple Watch now stands at 42mm and 46mm. I tried the more substantial model to evaluate its appeal compared to the larger Android smartwatches released recently. I found it agreeable and could envision myself favoring it over the diminutive Apple Watch. Its slimmer form factor is noteworthy, lacking the previous protrusions, thus not appearing daunting. Even with a slight increase, the 42mm still seems compact, attributed again to Apple’s sleek construction.
I also evaluated the entirely black Ultra 2. It is appealing, yet not quite my preference. The matching black Milanese Loop band presents a bit of a challenge to unfasten, though this might be deliberate given it’s intended for hardy exploration.

The illustration from Apple regarding its sleep apnea capabilities was predominantly ornamental. I observed the anticipated interface of the Health app when it suggests that medical consultation is necessary. It’s commendable. Finally, apart from the unlucky partners enduring nighttime snoring akin to suffocation, someone has actionable insights about occurrences during sleep. Although Apple hasn’t secured FDA clearance for this function, the tech titan aims to gain approval by year’s end to allow the update on the Apple Watch.
The price of the Apple Watch Series 10 begins at $400 for the 42mm version and increases to $430 for the 46mm version (excluding cellular capabilities’ cost). It will hit the shelves on September 20, and pre-orders can be made now.
