Robot cleaners have hit a plateau recently, particularly when it comes to unveiling something extraordinarily impressive. Certainly, there’s that robot sweeper with the arm, but its functionality is limited to a single task. Eufy’s latest robotic cleaner, making a debut at CES 2025, stands out as a tri-functional gadget. The company dubs it straightforwardly as the Eufy Clean E20 or Robot Vacuum 3-in-1. This item incorporates three functionalities: a robot vacuum, a portable handheld vacuum, and a stick vacuum without a cord. Your choice of format depends entirely on the kind of dirt you’re dealing with.
The Eufy Clean E20 is fundamentally a “central” vacuum featuring various attachments, one being a robotic unit. It initiates with the base station, housing a notable 350mL dustbin with a self-emptying mechanism designed to clear out the robot following task completion. If there’s a need for immediate cleanup or a quick vacuum session, users can detach the main component from the base and integrate it with alternative attachments, morphing it into an upright stick cleaner or a handheld vacuum. The selection is completely individual.
Eufy, belonging to Anker, acclaimed for its eclectic array of gadgets with versatile functionalities, markets this as the ultimate vacuum solution. The E20 achieves a maximum of 30,000Pa in suction when utilized as a stick or handheld vacuum and up to 8,000Pa when employed as a robot. (Conventionally, robot cleaners have less suction compared to typical upright vacuums.) Given that the “core” functionality of the vacuum remains consistent across accessories, its suction capabilities remain comparable.
Being under the Anker umbrella, renowned for its prowess in battery solutions, this robot vacuum exhibits notable battery features. The Eufy Clean E20’s power source allows it to operate for as long as 180 minutes on a full charge. It requires approximately 2.5 hours to recharge entirely. Eufy asserts that the E20 charges 40% faster compared to its competitors.
The complete Eufy Clean E20 set is priced at $560, a cost comparable to many mid-tier robot vacuums. The distinction lies in it being a 3-in-1 system. Pre-orders are available this month, with shipping beginning in February.
